Conway, known as “The Gateway to the Beach” offers old-south charm and is one of South Carolina’s top inland retirement destinations. Overlooking the Waccamaw River and located just 12 miles inland from Myrtle Beach, the residents of Conway have worked hard to maintain the small town-feel that has long been associated with the city.
